Javier Calleja

Javier Calleja is a Spanish contemporary artist celebrated for his wide-eyed characters — small figures with enormous, expressive eyes, often paired with witty, deadpan text. Working across painting, drawing and sculpture, and based in Málaga, Calleja has become one of the most in-demand figures in today's collectible art world, with a devoted international following and particularly strong demand across Asia. His editions, toys and unique works sell out rapidly on release, feeding an active secondary market. Rosenfeld Gallery sources and places secondary-market works by Javier Calleja across paintings, works on paper and editions. Whether you are seeking a specific work or considering a sale, we can advise on availability, edition, condition and value, and handle every transaction discreetly.
